Payment
We
require a 20% non-refundable deposit on booking. A
booking will be held confirmed once the initial
deposit has been paid and the terms and conditions
have been read and booking form signed to confirm
this. The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks
prior to your arrival. Once paid, it cannot normally
be refunded. Payment can be made by cheque or
electronic transfer. Please do not book flights
until booking is confirmed.
Cancellations
Providing the owners receive written
notice of cancellation not less than 8 weeks prior
to the actual booking date, the signatory will not
be liable to pay the remainder of the balance. It is
the responsibility of the signatory to ensure that
notice of cancellation reaches the owner. The
reservation deposit will be forfeited. If the
cancellation is received after 8 weeks prior to the
start of the holiday the signatory will be liable to
pay the full balance of the final invoice.
Registered guests
Only those stipulated on the booking
form may reside at the property as guests. Please
notify us as soon as possible of any changes. The
maximum capacity of our villa is 6. The number of
persons staying at the villa must not exceed this,
except in the case of infants (under two years old),
or unless specifically authorised. Should the owner
or local representative find that the number of
people staying at the property exceeds that on the
booking form he may, with absolute discretion, ask
the extra person or persons to vacate the villa
immediately.
Change over day
The change over day is
flexible throughout the year where possible.
Arrival and Departure times
The villa is available
from 15:00 on your arrival day and must be
vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure.
This is for preparation for the arriving guests. We
do appreciate this may be difficult due to flight
times, and it may be possible to leave luggage until
a more convenient time. This must be pre-arranged.
Access
The
owner or local representative shall be entitled at
any time to enter the villa to examine its condition
and the condition of its furniture and fittings. No
furniture must be moved without authorisation.
Suitability
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that
statements, descriptions and particulars of the
villa are accurate, the owner will not be liable if
the villa does not meet the requirements of the
guests. Prior to booking, guests must ensure that
the villa is entirely suitable for all members of
their party. This includes ensuring that any
wheelchair(s) in the party can negotiate the 78cm
(30inches) minimum door width.
Facilities
In the event of the
villa becoming unavailable due to circumstances
beyond the control of the Owner, the Owner will
refund all monies paid or a proportion in case of
curtailment. The Owner reserves the right to alter
or withdraw facilities or amenities (pool heating,
air conditioning, etc) without prior notice where
reasonably necessary due to repairs, maintenance,
weather conditions and other circumstances beyond
their control. The owner will refund the monies paid
for such facilities.
Damages deposit
We reserve the right
to charge a breakages
deposit of £100 which will be refunded, providing
there is no damage on departure.
Linen / Cleaning
Linen and towels are
included and are changed once per week. 6
beach towels are provided for villa use only.
Responsibilities
All
persons stated on the booking form are responsible
for the care of the property and are expected to
take good care of it throughout their stay. At the
end of the rental period all utensils, furnishings,
walls, floors and fittings must be left clean and
tidy. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify the
owner’s representative immediately of any sudden
equipment failure so that reasonable action can be
taken to rectify the situation. Any damage or
breakages must be reported immediately to the owner
or the local representative.
Insurance
You must arrange your
own insurance prior to travelling.
Smoking and pets
For
the safety and comfort of all our guests smoking is
NOT permitted within the property. No pets are
allowed, unless with prior authorisation. In the
event that any guest smokes within the property, any
security deposit will be forfeited.
Liability
To
the extent permitted by law, the owners of the
property exclude all liability and responsibility
whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents,
loss or damage to persons or personal belongings
however caused. The use of the accommodation and
amenities including the pool is entirely at the
user’s own risk. Children must be supervised by
responsible adults at all times when using the pool.
Complaints
In
the event of there being a complaint concerning the
villa, the matter must be taken up immediately
either with the owner or the local representative.
The owner regrets that they are unable to deal with
a complaint after the guest has left or returned
home.
Flying / Car hire
All arrangements for
flights and car hire are made between the client and
the relevant company.
Air Conditioning
Air conditioning is
optional. The additional cost is £100 per week.
Heating
From October - April
prices include villa heating. If additional
heating is required outside of these dates the cost
is £100 per week.
Pool heating
Pool heating is
optional. The price is calculated using the ambient
temperature and temperature required.
Note. The price
calculated is only applicable for combined use of
heater and pool cover which must be used when
the pool is not in use.
